It's not working, it needs internet connection to enter the game. But once you turn your wifi on and log in, the game put you to temporarily banned account, therefore you can't enter the game.

This is just a suggestion. I've downloaded and installed dozens of mods for this game over the past 3 or 4 months and came to the conclusion that any mod that has the VIP 10 included in it is banned before you can even press start.
What I would like to suggest is keeping the infinite diamond's and in-game currency as Gameloft don't instant ban on that. By keeping the game active for a few days gives you a chance to sign in on Facebook account. This means that people can delete the mod, install via Play Store and still have unlimited currency on a legit install. Gameloft won't make checks on games installed via Play Store giving people the chance to use mods in online events.
The only other way you will get VIP 10 to work is to take out internet connection by modifying the APK but Gameloft are starting to get wise to this and any game that attempts to start without internet is asked to tell Gameloft their age and consent and no age you put will work.
Not sure why but it won't even install I've had this problem with a few apps lately just say app not installed
BetaTestedUrGf, if you have any other games from Gameloft installed, you won't get this game to install unless you're rooted and modified the package installer to install every APK regardless if it is compatible or not.
If you look at all the package names Gameloft uses, they are all pretty much the same apart a couple of letters. They do this to stop people downloading outside Play Store.
Deerp1976, yeah I tried your suggestion and it worked but like you said it asks for my age and then won't work with out internet but as soon as the internet is on I'm banned so I don't know I think I'll just give up on this one
BetaTestedUrGf, I have 1 phone that is rooted and was able to access the data folders for Gangstar Vegas. In there is 1 called Age Gate. Gameloft have been very sneaky because even if you can get the mod to work, they have put the age to 23210 and there is no way you can input more than 2 numbers for age! I even amended the data file but as soon as Gameloft requests access to network, it overwrites the file to put that number in again. I've even amended the file after I pass the initial network access request and it still doesn't work!
Your best bet is to find a mod with only unlimited diamonds and gold with no VIP 10 in as Gameloft has detected how that works now and it's instant ban for every modded APK for VIP mod. That will get you playing online for a few games. Make sure you sign into a fresh Facebook account, create one if necessary and then as soon as you get signed in, leave the game completely and delete the mod. Install then via Play Store and the mod will still be on for unlimited diamonds etc and you can play the online events and upgrade everything without stressing out that Gameloft will ban you. They don't check games installed from Play Store.......yet. I've had this method working for the past 3 months and it still works perfectly. I constantly have 100.6 million diamonds in my game, never goes down. I can buy everything that doesn't require real cash or a higher VIP level than what I've got.
5.1.0d does install but when you load up the game and get to the checking updates screen, it crashes during loading regardless if you are connected to the internet or not.
