Red Faction

Red Faction transports players to Mars, where the Ultor Corporation exploits miners and scientists in the pursuit of the rare mineral noahite. Working conditions are brutal: security demands greater effort, resources are confiscated, and a deadly plague spreads among the workers. Amid rising discontent, an underground organization called "Red Faction" begins to call for rebellion. Players take on the role of Parker, a miner caught up in the struggle for freedom. Parker uses a variety of weapons, armor, and vehicles, explores levels, interacts with allies, and destroys the environment using the Geo-Mod system.
