Become Ignis, a special ember tasked with liberating the world of Orbis, recently overrun by the forces of darkness. Luckily, you happen to be trained in the art of deadly combat! Learn how to fight, upgrade your abilities, travel through increasingly hostile worlds, and restore the Eternal Flame.

Adapt and fight your enemies with a variety of moves and attacks, including combos, fiery dashes, wide-area strikes, and powerful finishing blows that deal decisive damage. But don’t be too reckless - it’s important to use your stamina wisely. Each biome in Flame Keeper is populated with unique enemies and obstacles of increasing difficulty. Consult your trusty Bestiary to learn the strengths and weaknesses of your enemies.

It’s not enough to let your fists do the talking. Sometimes... you need a little pick-me-up. Upgrade Ignis to your heart’s content with skills and passive abilities. Collect seeds from defeated enemies to learn new skills and complete specific tasks to earn runes and unlock useful passive abilities. Mix and match to create a variety of different builds!

To restore the Eternal Flame, you must search each environment for remnants of its energy and bring it back to the Fire Camp at each stage. Here's the kicker: the energy you collect also acts as your health. You need to deplete it to recharge each Fire Camp, but you also need to stay healthy to explore deeper. Find the right balance and discover the best way to play.

At the beginning of each level is the Vulpis Village. The Vulpis are friends with a brave charcoal burner like you, so they're happy to oblige you. Here you can rest, upgrade abilities, restore and upgrade structures with the resources you've collected. The village changes along with your progress, opening up new gameplay possibilities each time.
