About the game
"Return to Monkey Island" is an unexpected and incredible return of the creator of the series Ron Gilbert, who continues the story of the legendary adventure games "The Secret of Monkey Island" and "Monkey Island: Revenge of LeChak", developed jointly with Lucasfilm Games. Many years have passed since the last battle between Guybrush Threepwood and his sworn enemy, the zombie pirate LeChak. The love of his life, Elaine Marley, has left the governor's duties, and Guybrush himself has not solved the Mystery of Monkey Island and just goes with the flow. New young pirate leaders under the leadership of Captain Madison overthrew the old guard, things are getting worse on Massacre Island, and a well-known businessman Stan ended up in prison for "advertising crimes".
